Prof Edwin van Teijlingen is a sociologist with over three decades of experience in mixed-method approaches, qualitative research and systematic reviewing. He has conducted health and migration research in the UK and Asia. He has supervised over 25 PhD students to completion and is Book Review Editor of Sociological Research Online (2002-present).
