Dr. Nirmal Aryal is a Nepali citizen and currently working as a post-doctoral researcher at Bournemouth University, UK. He has completed a Ph.D. in Public Health Research (Epidemiology) from the University of Otago, New Zealand. His current migration health-related research is primarily focused on the health vulnerabilities of low-skilled migrant workers and the health issues of their left-behind family members. He is involved in around ten migration health-related projects in Nepal, UK, and Malaysia. He has also got expertise in quantitative methods, systematic review, non-communicable diseases, and risk factors. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers including original research, systematic reviews, brief reports, and methods and service improvement related.
